What it connects

Everything the gateway reads is republished as a single OPC UA server that any standard client — Ignition, WinCC, AVEVA, a historian, an MES — can subscribe to.
Why it exists
The hard part is getting data out of OPC DA.
Pulling tags from a WinCC, Honeywell QCS or TwinCAT server is notoriously fiddly: it depends on 32-bit COM/DCOM, the right Automation wrapper, and DCOM permissions that take an afternoon to get right — and it fails with class-not-registered errors that name nothing useful.
SyncNode Gateway carries that knowledge inside the product. It ships its own 32-bit runtime, picks the wrapper that actually works, and when a source will not connect it tells you, in plain language, exactly what to fix.
The customer installs nothing else. No Python, no OPC toolkit, no development environment.

The licences
Buy only the sources you bridge.
Each source is a separate licence — perpetual, node-locked to one machine, and activated offline. Activation is additive: buy a second source later and it adds on without touching the first. Prices in USD.
OPC DA Server 1 → OPC UA
opcdaBridges one OPC DA (COM/DCOM) server to OPC UA. This is the flagship: the hard, valuable part of the product, and what most sites buy first.
OPC DA Server 2 → OPC UA
opcda2A second, fully independent OPC DA source on the same machine — its own process and its own OPC UA port — so one failing source never affects the other.
OMRON FINS (CJ2) → OPC UA
finsPolls OMRON CJ2-series PLCs over FINS/UDP and publishes their memory to OPC UA — no OPC DA server involved.
Siemens S7 → OPC UA
s7Reads Siemens S7 PLCs over the Snap7 protocol and publishes to OPC UA — direct to the PLC, no WinCC required.
Cross-Bridge Routing
bridgeCopies values directly between two PLCs (OMRON ↔ Siemens) with no extra ladder logic — a data mover, not a UA source.

OMRON FINS, Siemens S7, Cross-Bridge. Install and run them for 7 days with nothing to activate — no key, no internet. After day 7 the source stops until a licence is activated; anything you configured is kept.
Evaluation key
OPC DA Server 1 & 2. The OPC DA engine is protected by a licence vault, so it needs a signed key even to evaluate. Send us your Machine ID and we issue a 7-day evaluation key for that machine, free — the same one-line activation as a purchase.
Every licence is node-locked to one machine via its Machine ID (SNG-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), activated offline, and perpetual unless you agree a time-limited key. Nothing phones home.

In the dashboard, open License & Tiers and copy your SNG-… Machine ID.

Pick your licences below, pay with PayPal, and send your Machine ID. We e-mail the key; you paste it and Activate.
Build your order
Tick the sources you need. Prices in USD, perpetual, one machine.
Needed so we can lock your key to this machine. You can also send it after paying.
Payment is handled by PayPal — you pay SyncNode Works (herrviko@gmail.com); we never see your card. Choose at least one licence to enable the buttons. After payment we issue your key to the Machine ID you gave and e-mail it back — usually the same business day. Prefer to pay another way (bank transfer, invoice)? System requirements

- For an OPC DA source: the source's own OPC Core Components — already present on a WinCC / QCS / TwinCAT station.
- Network access from the gateway PC to the PLC / OPC server it reads.
- OPC UA out on :49321 — anonymous, or Sign & Encrypt (Basic256Sha256) when the network is shared.
